Ostad Davoudi (Abolghassem Dastfili)Born in the Year 1955 in the hub of fine arts of Iran, Tabriz City, East Azarbaijan to an art-lover family. He started to show his artistic talents only when he was 10 years old and started to be trained and educated by the most great Masters in Tabriz City and passed his secondary education at the Mirak Arts Education Center and his Bachelor’s at the Tehran University of Visual Arts. Since he is a person deeply in indebted in innovation and to the Islamic Theology of Molana and Hafez, he pursued his artistic life in the field of Miniature and Carpet Design and started to apply his own style and world-view in his works. His works and their coral elements are in fact inspired by the Theology of Molavi and due faith to and proper indulgence with the Islamic Arts and the Art most prevalent in the Safavids Era in Tabriz, some including Avant-garde Behzad and Soltanmohammad. He has, over 40 difficult years of stepping steadily but differently in the diligent path of the Fine Arts, succeeded in establishing a style specific to him in a way to have bestowed upon the field his most precious gift and in creating Artefacts which are now kept in the museums and the houses of the arts-lovers all over the world including Germany, Switzerland, Denmark.
