Statement- The Puppet Series The puppet, as known from its name, is a playful toy. They offer an engaging way to interact and explore our knowledge and understanding of the world. With the ability to manipulate them, move their limbs and head, we can enact situations in a way that are familiar to us. For me the Puppet series started as a means to re-create my favorite works of art. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding by imitating and personalizing them. But During the play a new world opened up where the puppet could take the role of anyone. Situations and layouts gradually became more personal and the puppet became the subject of my own issues and preoccupations… You can use your imagination and the roles are endless.
